Container Vegetable Garden Beginning

In this project, we use vegetables in containers to make the most of the few, full sun, areas we have in the garden — chasing the sun, as it were. We found the large pots at a yard sale just 2 houses away. The original marked price was each. We got them for each. I used some re-purposed flagstones as a stable base for each pot and picked up some soil at the gardening center, having run out of my own homemade potting soil. The total time required to put these 3 pots together, including the time required for taking the video and cut, was only about an hour. A small investment for such a large vegetable planting. You can see me planting up some of our seedlings. but we will also plant some seeds in these pots.
