Growing large home grown sunburst yellow squash hanging in pots.

Growing Squash made easy by finding a nice sunny spot in your backyard to hang a pot. I recommend the hanging method if you are short on space like i am. Feel free to ask any questions and please check out my other clips and tell me what you think.

  2. @bowler8 I have never heard of the name pattypan squash before but after checking then they look exactly the same to me, the name they get called here in Aus is Sunburst yellow, but im sure there would be heaps of different names for them.

  5. I was given some seeds and I am growing two plants. There are called Yellow Sunburst Squash, Pattypan Squash or Scallop Squash. Yes they are great for limited space like I have too.

  6. @charlocot Are you growing in pots like here, they are good little producers with plenty of sunlight, be sure to keep harvesting them once they get to about the size of a golf ball, thats when they taste the best and are the softest.

  7. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. My squash have been messed up by squash vine borers but hopefully I can save one or two as I found them in time and have used Seven dust every couple of days. Good luck with your garden this year.
